| MEDEMBLIK, THE NETHERLANDS-(9-8-2005) On the second day of the European Championship at Medemblik the Dutch team Den Outer, Determan and Den Arend (NED 33) was victorious. The Norwegian team Usterud, Ottestad and Goldeng (NOR 133) came in second and third place was taken by the only Hungarian team of Wossala, Vezer and Nemeth (HUN77).
The wind varied between and 10-16 knots and a lot of wind shifts didn’t make things any easier. Still there was a second race to come.
Overall scoring after the first three races shows that GER 300 (Koch, Koch, Borneman) is in the lead.
Second place is taken by NED 33 (Den Outer, Determan, Den Arend)
and a good third is for NOR 133 (Usterud, Ottestad, Goldeng).
Still anything can happen, and competitors are looking forward to tomorrow.
